Algorithms and check values
Check value = CRC of the ASCII text "123456789". Each E2E profile also fixes how the Data ID is included, which bytes are covered and where the CRC and counter sit; confirm these against your E2E configuration.

Questions
Which CRC does each E2E profile use?
Profile 1 and 11 use CRC8 SAE J1850 (polynomial 0x1D), Profile 2 and 22 use CRC8H2F (0x2F), Profile 4 uses CRC32P4 (0xF4ACFB13), Profiles 5 and 6 use CRC16 CCITT (0x1021) and Profile 7 uses CRC64 (ECMA).
Why doesn't my CRC match the ECU?
Usually because the Data ID is not included the same way, the CRC byte itself is not excluded, the byte order differs, or the counter is in a different position. Use the E2E helpers to try each option.
How do I check the calculator?
Select an algorithm and type 123456789 as text: the result must equal the check value in the table.
Testing E2E protection or SecOC?
Dervo engineers write and run tests for AUTOSAR communication, E2E protection and fault injection on HIL benches.
