What it shows and checks
- Browse: search every named element by name, path or type, then open it to see its fields, the elements inside it, what it references and what references it.
- Components: each software component with its ports (P, R, PR), interface and data elements or operations, runnables and RTE events; compositions with their prototypes and connectors.
- Checks: duplicate element paths, references to elements that do not exist, references whose DEST type does not match the target, invalid short names, ports without an interface, empty interfaces, data elements without a type, runnables no event triggers, events pointing to missing runnables, R-ports and composition ports without connectors, assembly connectors between different interfaces, and I-signals outside or overlapping in an I-PDU (little-endian).
- Compare: elements are matched by their full AUTOSAR path. You see added and removed elements and every changed value, for example a data type, period, reference or category.
Works with AUTOSAR Classic R4.x ARXML (and most R3.x files). References into packages you have not loaded, such as /AUTOSAR_Platform, are listed but not reported as errors. It is a review aid and does not replace your configuration tool's validation.

Questions
Can it edit ARXML or generate code?
No. It is read-only on purpose: it helps you review and compare files from any AUTOSAR tool. Configuration and code generation stay in your project's toolchain.
Why do I see 'Reference not found'?
The target is not in the files you loaded. ARXML is often split across several files, so choose all of them together (for example components, interfaces and data types). If the target really does not exist, the reference is broken.
How are two versions matched?
By each element's full path, for example /Demo/Components/Dashboard/RP_VehicleSpeed. A renamed or moved element shows as one removed and one added.
Are my files uploaded?
No. They are read and parsed by your browser and stay on your computer. Only the Excel report is created, on your device.
